Directions to Engineering Science Building, Room 1001

The Graduate Student Workshop on Computing will be held September 28th in the Engineering Corridor on the northeast side of the UC Santa Barbara campus, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Parking and Registration

  • Paid parking for off campus attendees is available at CNSI's Parking Lot 10 in numbered stalls on the first floor only or in the Mesa Parking Structure.

  • Registered attendees: please pick up your name badge starting at 8:30am in front of the Engineering Science Building (ESB), Room 1001, located nearest to the Chemistry building.

  • To register, please RSVP to Kelly Brett (srsvp@ia.ucsb.edu, 805-893-3172) by September 21st.

Driving Directions to UC Santa Barbara

U.S. 101 from the South

Take the Airport/UCSB exit (Highway 217) off U.S. 101 approximately eight miles north of Santa Barbara to the campus East Gate. Make a right turn at the roundabout onto Mesa Road. Parking Lot 10 will be on your left at the first light. To park in the Mesa Parking Structure, continue down Mesa Road and turn left onto Ocean Road and make a left at the first light. It will be marked "Mesa Parking Structure". Please pay for your parking and display your pass.

U.S. 101 from the North

Take the Storke Road/Glen Annie Road exit off U.S. 101 approximately twelve miles north of Santa Barbara. Turn right onto Storke Road and proceed two miles to El Colegio Road. Turn left on El Colegio Road and proceed to the campus West Gate entrance. Make a left turn onto Ocean Road and make a right at the first light, it will be marked "Mesa Parking Structure". To park in Lot 10, go past the Mesa Parking Structure and take a right onto Mesa Road. Continue to the second light and turn right into Parking Lot 10. Please pay for your parking and display your pass.
