Graduate Student Workshop on Computing 2009

October 2nd 2009 @ UCSB

Location: Loma Pelona Center Room 1108 (see 2F on map linked below)

The Department of Computer Science at the University of California at Santa Barbara is sponsoring the Fourth Annual Computer Science Graduate Student Workshop on Computing. The focus of this workshop is to highlight top student research within the department, promote the exchange of ideas among students, faculty and industry, and familiarize new graduate students with the research conducted within our department and the larger computer science community. Last year's conference was an amazing success with over 20 submissions, several guest speakers from industry and overwhelming attendance from undergraduate, graduate students and faculty.

Top research papers from graduate students will be presented as fifteen minute talks. The workshop will also include a larger poster session and keynote speakers from local and global industry speakers.

We look forward to a high turn out from computer science students and faculty.
